Companies are experimenting with generative AI and finding new ways to create winning customer experiences, according to Harvard Business Review. As they think about the competitive implications, they can follow several best practices to create that experience. First, the focus should be on the customer, not the technology. Rather than asking themselves what the technology can do, they should ask “how it can help.” They can also focus on learning about the customer so the organization can better position itself to create a positive feedback loop. Finally, technology should be viewed as a tool to complement technologies, not create a substitute for them.
